A mini fab project.

Worked on the exhaust header fitment issues on and off all weekend and finally getting some where. But during a brainstorming break, I lost some focus and turned my attention to the transmission cover and how the shift boots didn’t fit and the holes would need to be adjusted. So here’s a bit of what happened:

The bare cover. The main issue was the twin stick shifter location for the transfer case.
Made a simple cardboard template after double checking measurements.
Made a perfect little piece out of a spare trans tunnel cover.
Cleaned up and ready to weld.
Welded and ready to be cleaned and painted with bed liner.
Finished and ready to be installed.

Now tomorrow after work, I’ll get back to finishing the Y pipe and get this Bronco a little closer to being a lot quieter. Stay tuned!
